Instructions on how to properly and safely use your Cone Crown tool caddy. It’s quite simple really!
USE WITH TRAFFIC CONES
- Place your Cone Crown over any wide body traffic cone that is at least 28″ high or taller. (Black side facing DOWN)
- CHAIN OPTION*: Align one of any of the four chain slots towards the next cone you will be installing a Cone Crown on
- Level out and GENTLY push down to snug it up.
- Congrats! You have installed your Cone Crown and are ready to get to work
*Use plastic chain only
USE WITH TIERED CHANNELIZERS
- Works with most brands of tiered channelizers. Place your Cone Crown over the TIERED Channelizer. (Black side facing DOWN). The Cone Crown needs a ridge to sit on so it will mot adapt to candlestick types too well.
- CHAIN OPTION*: Align one of any of the four chain slots towards the next channelizer you will be installing a Cone Crown on
- It’s a simple as that!
*Use plastic chain only
USING PLASTIC CHAIN OPTION
Feed the plastic chain from the bottom side up through one of the four slotted holes and slide the chain securely in to the slot.
Airlines can also tether the Cone Crown to the channelizer by attaching one end to the Cone Crown, then through the loop of the channelizer, and then to the underside of the any of the open chain slots on the Con Crown.
USAGE TIPS
- BALANCE: when using for tool storage, try to balance out the weight of the tools equally around the caddy.
- leave one or two 16″ pieces of plastic chain with each tool caddy so you can secure long handles tools when using the recessed areas. This is convenient for securing brooms, shovels, rakes and lutes.
DAMAGED DISKS
Should you somehow manage to crack or break your Cone Crown tool caddy, we suggest you recycle it. Cracks can cause sharp edges or pinch points.
